Finite life filled with infinite things

Hallstatt

I’d like to take a moment to record this feeling here. I have just returned from one of the most beautiful trips in my life. There were high mountains, picture-perfect sky decked with clouds, hills and grass greener than green. There was this beautiful Gasthaus tucked between mountains and green fields covered in flowers, and perfect cakes, lovely coffee, countless pints of beer, pork ribs (for some of us), bretzels and strudels and late night walks on the beautiful streets of Salzburg.
This trip was more than I could ever tell. It was fun, it was magical, it was breath-taking, it was restorative and inspiring.
Between shoe-shopping, walking on the cobbled streets, discovering a beer garden in what used to be a monastery, taking the funicular up to the oldest salt mine in the world and admiring an amazing lake…
I was swept off my feet.
To be continued.
